Leitz Tooling has won the GLOBAL Innovation & Excellence Award by Corporate LiveWire thanks to our constant innovation and product develpment. This time, we featured our new range of router cutters, designed and made in the UK.
Leitz Tooling is thrilled to announce that we have been declared as the winner of the Precision Tooling Specialist award from Corporate LiveWire’s Global innovation & excellence awards. With over 62,000 businesses being entered into the awards this year, we are proud to have been considered so closely by the judges and to have won the award 2 years in a row.
This recognition highlights Leitz Tooling's unwavering commitment to research and development, product innovation, sustainability, and its position at the forefront of the industry as both a technology and market leader.
Leitz Tooling has developed a lot of new and innovative tooling solutions over the last year and we are proud to have won this award for our hard work. Leitz has designed new edgebanding profile cutters with a constant diameter system – ideal for maintaining consistent edge profiles in furniture production. The ProfilCut Q Diamond for edge finishing uses a solid diamond blade design, which can save 2-3 hours adjustment time compared to DP tipped solutions.
For solid wood processing, Leitz has engineered a new hydro planerhead system that uses hydro clamping for maximum tolerances when planing. This new cutter head provides accurate planning at high feed speeds for high-performance machines. The new clamping system combines a classic clamping system with a new user friendly design for improved efficiency, reliability and sustainability. Available in a steel or aluminum tool body.
Leitz Tooling UK has also recently launched a new range of UK-made spiral router cutters. The new routing range includes over 450 different tools that are specially designed for the UK market. Suitable for joinery and furniture applications, the router cutters are made from specialist solid carbide for superior durability and surface finish. Leitz Tooling manufacturers a large range of router cutters, and our latest additions ensure we offer local customer first solutions.
Additionally, Leitz Tooling has developed the new Diamaster FixChip router cutters in collaboration with FixChip. The new router cutters for FxChip connectors ensures perfect fitting grooves very time and allows you to machine your furniture components faster. Similar to our Lamello cutters, these routers use high grade carbide for extended tool life.
